The project
Piechowski Energy assisted in winning a $54,000 Department of Environment Land, Water Planning (DELWP) energy efficiency grant to carry out demand management feasibility study and to upgrade large mixers motors and controls.
The outcome
The upgraded large motors controls including installation of VSDs with projected annual electricity cost saving in the order of 15%, or $24,000, and approximately 124 tons of CO2 emissions reduction.
