The project
Piechowski Energy assisted in winning a $63,000 Sustainability Victoria energy efficiency grant to carry out an energy audit and to install waste heat recovery from the refrigeration plant. The project included design of heat recovery system, and an integration with the factory Heating Hot Water System.
The outcome
The heat recovery for HHW heating projected annual gas cost saving in the order of 13%, or $18,000, and approximately $19,000 of electricity cost saving per annum.
